Tammy Loftis, PT

Tammy received her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from University of Tennessee – Memphis after completing the pre-physical therapy curriculum at Tennessee Technological University. She received her Master’s in Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University. She is a certified Tai Chi for Rehabilitation instructor through the Tai Chi for Health Institute and has a special interest in using Tai Chi and other evidence-based approaches to fall prevention in the elderly. Tammy maintains memberships in the American Physical Therapy Association and the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association. Tammy has 35+ years of physical therapy experience, including experience in acute care, long term care, geriatric outpatient, and work with dementia patients. Tammy has an active role in her church as a minister’s wife and has been blessed with the opportunity to participate in international mission work. In her free time, she enjoys being with family, knitting, and playing with her Boston Terrier, Piper.
